Janice Baris is an awesome singer with a smooth and enchanting voice. She has performed at concerts, theater, fashion shows, and as a finalist in YTV's Vocal Spotlight. With two CD releases as a member of the vocal group Tegancat and a release with Canadian band TRU22 Janice has become a natural in the studio and on stage. As part of the ongoing project team at Tegancat Music she has recorded background vocals for several artists such as Grace Murillo, Courtney Parker and Kim Reimer. Janice was a featured artist on a Tegancat Music various artists CD - LISTEN with three great songs demonstrating her awesome talent. She received airplay on CBC radio and was "Manitoba Artist of the day". Not only a great lead vocalist, Janice has the perfect voice for full, rich and thick background vocal and harmony work. Currently Janice sings backup vocals and plays keyboards in "the 62 Impalas", a band supporting vocalist Kim Reimer. She sang backups on both of Kim's albums and is working on a new one. Most recently Janice has been a part of a Tegancat album project whatever, that has just been released, singing lead and backup vocals. The album is a free download.
